How do I enter my add-on in Codegeist?

Where can I learn more about building add-ons?
Our developer site at developer.atlassian.com has all the info you'll need.
What criteria is used to judge add-ons?
The add-ons will be judged by a team familiar with our products. The primary criteria the judges are considering:
- Usefulness: Is your add-on solving a real problem customers have?
- Innovation: Is your add-on creative and unique given the other add-ons in the market?
- Quality: Does the add-on function as expected? Is it free of bugs?
- Design: Is the UI intuitive and in compliance with Atlassian design guidelines? Is the listing informative including useful screenshots?
How many add-ons can I enter in Codegeist?
As many as you have time to build!
Can I enter server add-ons?
Yes. Many of the Codegeist 2015 prizes are for cloud add-ons only, but the Overall best add-on and Popular choice add-on are for cloud and server add-ons.
Do I have to be a new Marketplace vendor to enter?
No, everyone's welcome to join. However, we do have a prize just for new vendors.
How does the Popular choice add-on prize work?
Someone that submits an add-on that creates a new vendor account that was not previously registered in the Marketplace will automatically be considered for this prize.
Are prizes taxable?
You should check with your local accountant. Every country is different.
Can only paid add-on vendors submit an add-on?
No. Both paid and free add-ons can be entered in the competition.
Do I own the rights to the add-on I build?
Yes. The add-on you build is yours to do with as you please. For more details read the official rules.
Are there any restrictions to who can join this challenge?
There are a couple. For details read the official rules.
I need ideas of what to build. Where can I look?
There are lots of places to look for inspiration. To start, you should think about your own team challenges. How can an add-on help you work better as a team in JIRA, Confluence, HipChat, or Bitbucket? You can also browse the Atlassian Marketplace to see which add-ons are already available. What's missing? Our product feedback JIRA, Atlassian Answers, and other online forums are also great spots to find ideas. Here are some additional ideas of what you could build:

Existing add-ons

Solutions
Is there an industry or business team that would benefit from the customization our products? Help these teams work faster by building an add-on for Codegeist 2015.
Can I submit something I've already built?
As long as the add-on hasn't been published publicly in the Marketplace prior to this year's Codegeist competition, it is eligible.
Where can I go for technical help?
Engage with the Atlassian community on Atlassian Answers to get help if you're stuck. Using the tags, e.g. atlassian-connect, will help make sure you get your question in front of the right people.
How can I get my AWS credit?
You need to fill out this form.
Can I sell my submissions as a commercial add-on on the Atlassian Marketplace?
Yes! In fact, if your submission is good enough to be worth money, it probably has a good shot at winning a prize. Follow these instructions for creating a paid-via-Atlassian add-on listing in the Marketplace.
What if my add-on doesn't get approved in the Atlassian Marketplace?
We recommend submitting your add-on 1-2 weeks in advance of the contest deadline to ensure your add-on is approved in time for the popular choice voting period. Common reasons add-ons are rejected include using the same image for multiple highlights, spelling JIRA as “Jira” and repeating description text. Check out our developer site for full add-on approval guidelines.
